3 To A Great Summer 2016 For those that dont know me Im Deb SudnikovichPriest Lake Chamber President Priest Lake Library Chair former People Helping People Auction Coordinator artist and a wearer of a few other hats I live here full time. Thank you for picking up our Visitors Guide Priest Lake information great stories a map of the area and the calendars full of events for the summer await you. First let me tell you Welcome Back - we had a mild winter an above normal higher mountain snowpack a real spring and are looking at a warm summer so be safe and enjoy your time here at the Lake. With that in mind have you made any summer plans there are so many things to consider. Playing on the Lake whether boating jet skiing canoeing kayaking or just swimming can consume most afternoons. Be sure to visit the Library and the Museum they will provide you with the history of Priest Lake internet and a book or two for quiet cabin reading. Maybe a day of shopping the lake offers a variety of gift and gallery shopping venues. Dont forget your huckleberry products they make great gifts or just keep them for yourself.You could escape to your favorite huckleberry patch for a morning of purple delight. Day hikes so many choices be sure you let someone know where youre going and carry bear spray if you go deep into the woods. Motor sports are always popular in the summer months. Watch out for other riders on the trails and be safe. Maybe youll just rest and have a few evenings out enjoying the wide selection of menus offered at Priest Lake eating establishments. Most come with excellent views of the Lake and all offer fabulous eats. Whether youre camping RVing staying at a resort have a cabin or live at Priest Lake there is something for everybody enjoy and thank you for coming.
