The East Priest Lake Fire Protection District was Established in 2020 to cover an unprotected 10 mile stretch of shoreline North and South of Indian Creek. We are always on the look out for new emergency response volunteers along with volunteers to help plan for the districts future fire station. Please contact Fire Chief Renzi if you would like to become a volunteer or would like to join our meetings every other month to help build a safer district. We appreciate and need your support.
East Priest Lake Fire Protection District
Let’s Have Another Safe Summer!
EPLFD leaders have been working hard to build a Fire District from the ground up. The EPLFD team has three local Fire Commissioners: Tom Clevenger, Keith Hanson & Ann McKinstry, a Fire Chief: Tom Renzi, an Assistant Fire Chief: Dave Tewel, Training Lieutenants: Andrew Patterson & Keith Hanson and a Secretary: Jaime Yob. The whole EPLFD team is busy planning for the future which includes a structure to house an ambulance, an engine, a water tender and our new attack apparatus. We are also working with Life Flight on a landing pad for a helicopter. The district has a total of 17 volunteers that responded to the community last year on 11 calls. EPLFD has a fire boat on order that will be completed and delivered Spring of 2025. The new fire boat will greatly increase how we can provide services to the community. We are hopeful for the future of this boat to help save lives and property. EPLFD is close to securing land to build a fire station. We have the designs and drawings ready for when the land is secured. While EPLFD solidifies the framework for our own equipment, building, and training, volunteers are training in-district and with our neighboring districts: Coolin Cavanaugh Bay Fire Protection District and North of the Narrows Fire District. If you would like to learn more about volunteering, training and dates, please see our online application at eastpriestlakefire.org or reach out through by email EastPriestLakeFD@gmail.com. Help us build a safer district!
